Delete your account

Haelan is made by Haelan Labs, LLC. You can delete your account and its data in the app, or ask us to do it by email.

In the app

Open Haelan and sign in.
Go to the Profile tab.
Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Your account and data are deleted right away.

Without the app

Email hello@haelanlabs.com from the email address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my Haelan account. We'll delete the account within 30 days and email you when it's done.

What gets deleted

Your account, email address and name
Your onboarding answers and profile
Journal entries and lesson answers
Lesson progress and activity history
Haelan Guide chats and anything the Guide remembered
Trigger sound clips you recorded or uploaded
Subscription records we store

What we keep

Some security and system logs. We remove your account ID from them, so they can't be linked to you.
A record that an account was deleted, which stores only a one-way hash of the old account ID.
Crash reports our error monitoring service already received. They expire under that service's retention period.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in Google Play (Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions) or in your Apple ID settings. Google and Apple keep their own purchase records.
