Editorial policy
Haelan Labs publishes the articles on this site and develops the Haelan app. This page explains who writes the articles, how sources are used, and how to request a correction.
Who writes our content
Articles are prepared by the Haelan team and carry a byline, publication date, and, when applicable, an update date. Our current articles have not been independently clinically reviewed. We do not use a “medically reviewed” label without an actual qualified reviewer.
Sources you can explore
We link to the sources behind factual health information, prioritizing professional organizations, public health bodies, and original research. A link is not an endorsement of Haelan. Research into sound sensitivity continues to develop, and evidence for an approach does not prove that the Haelan app will produce the same result.
Health information and app claims
We distinguish general education from individual advice, and app features from clinical outcomes. We do not promise recovery, a fixed timeline, or that a particular tool will suit everyone. Content about sound practice includes context about individual suitability.
Use of AI
We use AI tools for some drafting, editing, and editorial images. Generated images illustrate a topic; they do not show actual Haelan users or clinical assessments. AI assistance is not clinical review, and sources and claims require human verification before release.
Keeping information current
We update articles when we identify a material error or learn that information needs revision. Article dates reflect publication and substantive updates, not a guarantee that every source has changed. If you spot a problem, contact us with the article URL and the detail we should check.
Our relationship with the app
Articles may describe Haelan’s features and link to the app. Those links are to our own product, not an independent recommendation.
